Got my letter from NVC! Interview Nov 1!!!! And I his called them today. Lol.

Yay, grats! kicking.gif Get that medical figured out asap!

Thanks Saylin! and yes I've been long signed up for Electronic Processing, so not getting a case complete email was odd. But yes, I'm excited to know we're at the final step here (Medical is all booked for November 13th)

Cheers

Hmm, indeed weird. Did you check your spam folder? Did you maybe accidentally delete it? Either way though, not important. The interview letter is much more important ;)

Got our interview date for late Nov just now - sorry to hear of the situation in El Salvador.

Grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif

I am the petitioner and received NOA2 Sept. 18, 2012, at my mailbox in US

On Sept 27, 2012 received letter from NVC saying received and approved I-129F

The letter had my INS Receipt Number from receipt of NOA1

The letter also contained a Case Number for Guangzhou embassy GUZ2012768057

and the address of the embassy that it would be processed in China

My fiance' received a phone call from embassy in Guangzhou confirming her mailing address on Sept 29, 2012

My fiance' received a packed on Oct 1 in China requesting she send only DS-230 and then the list of other documents she would need when assigned an interview date.

Now my question: Neither she nor I have received an invoice from NVC which you say must be paid from US bank. I try to sign in to "Invoice Payment" portal and do and ACH but I have no invoice identification number. Everything happened in less than two weeks from the time of receipt of NOA2 from VSC. I get nervous when things go too quickly. When will I get an invoice????? If I do not get an invoice and she gets an interview scheduled will they deny her when she travels to Guangzhou for invoice not being paid????

9/18 NOA2 VSC

9/22 NVC receives approved I-129F petition

9/27 NVC assigns Case number and China Embassy has approval from NVC next day

9/28 Beneficiary from China receives phone call from GUZ (embassy)

10/1 Beneficiary from China receives packet

NO INvoice

My email is ifihadwings.today@gmail.com

You're in the wrong forum. This is for IR-1/CR-1 applicants. You're a K1 applicant. K1 visa applicants do NOT pay anything to NVC; you pay at the embassy.

Please go to the top of any VJ page, and click the Guides tab. Find the one for K1 applicants. Read up.

Did you hit the maximum message quota? If you hit the max, then you can't send or receive.

Lol thanks JL. I'm just so relieved I get to see my husband for our one year marriage anniversary. That makes this a little easier to stomach. Everything will be ok -- this is happening for a reason.

You have a fantastic boss! I'm glad you're going to get to spend some time with your husband. And you'll get a date before you know it - time really does fly. And while you're waiting, you have a bunch of folks here to entertain you and help pass the time!

Even after I delete everything I still can't send. And also there's not a option to send me a message on my profile. Like there was before.

Nope, the NVC does not email you when they send the case out. It's typically the day after the interview has been scheduled. Call up NVC next week to confirm.
