Just talked to the NVC again. Still no case complete

I did get an interesting answer with regard to interview scheduling though. The lady was very nice and said that for some embassies the scheduling is continuous, for others it is once a month. She was unable to tell me what category Germany belongs to though

So I guess I am preparing myself for a December interview. Hoping it will be really really early December though.

Lol thanks JL. I'm just so relieved I get to see my husband for our one year marriage anniversary. That makes this a little easier to stomach. Everything will be ok -- this is happening for a reason.

so I think it is safe to say we can stop speculating on when NVC schedules interviews.....everyone and thier dog is getting a different answer from the operators . I know it helps to pass the time to try and speculate when we might get interviews, but I pretty much don´t beleive anything from the operators, i prefer VJ!

I try and think about it this way....if my hubbys case takes longer, it´s for the better....idk maybe he will avoid getting that jerk CO, or getting on that late bus, caught in the rain waiting outside, or whatever.... helps me anyway

Got my letter from NVC! Interview Nov 1!!!! And I his called them today. Lol.

Got our interview date for late Nov just now - sorry to hear of the situation in El Salvador.

I am the petitioner and received NOA2 Sept. 18, 2012, at my mailbox in US

On Sept 27, 2012 received letter from NVC saying received and approved I-129F

The letter had my INS Receipt Number from receipt of NOA1

The letter also contained a Case Number for Guangzhou embassy GUZ2012768057

and the address of the embassy that it would be processed in China

My fiance' received a phone call from embassy in Guangzhou confirming her mailing address on Sept 29, 2012

My fiance' received a packed on Oct 1 in China requesting she send only DS-230 and then the list of other documents she would need when assigned an interview date.

Now my question: Neither she nor I have received an invoice from NVC which you say must be paid from US bank. I try to sign in to "Invoice Payment" portal and do and ACH but I have no invoice identification number. Everything happened in less than two weeks from the time of receipt of NOA2 from VSC. I get nervous when things go too quickly. When will I get an invoice????? If I do not get an invoice and she gets an interview scheduled will they deny her when she travels to Guangzhou for invoice not being paid????

9/22 NVC receives approved I-129F petition

9/27 NVC assigns Case number and China Embassy has approval from NVC next day

9/28 Beneficiary from China receives phone call from GUZ (embassy)

10/1 Beneficiary from China receives packet

You need to call NVC back and get your invoice number so you'll be able to sign in to pay the fees.

Okay wait I am confused since when do you deal with NVC and pay fees on a K1 Visa? Everything you is through embassy. You pay your fee at embassy when you go to interview. Right?
