Still waiting on husbands IV BILL documents. Why we can't all be EP. ughhhh. wait I must. Just want Case complete by end of month. And the idea of doing this over makes me want to cry.

LOL NVC hasn't scheduled cases for El Salvador at all for the past 3 months. They have over 1000 cases in the queue waiting to be scheduled because of a glitch.

... I'm done. I am officially throwing in the towel. I don't know if that means I'm going to walk in front of a train or declare bankruptcy and move to El Salvador. But I can't, I can't do this anymore. The chances of us getting an interview before "Early 2013" are non-existent. I have been without my husband now for 16 months already. And I can't. I just can't.

What glitch? What happened? Hav eyou thought of getting a congressman involved to investigate why El is all bogged down? Have you called DOS and maybe they can shade some light on it.

Know that interviews regardless of 1,000 of 10,000 are assigned by priority order and yours should be right up front. Its not your case complete date.

Please don't lose faith now dear. It's frustrating, tiring, vexing and heartbreaking. You can hang in there. Come on now.

I'm getting a life or death letter from my therapist today and trying to expedite. I'm really scared that if it takes another 7-9 months I'll end up dead.

BUT my boss just offered to buy my airfare for a trip in November!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy smokes!!!!! We just got an email - November 8 interview date!!!!! I'm flabbergasted. Hoping you all get letters today, too!!!

It isn't a list of people from VJ. It is a list of all the interviews scheduled for a certain month, and it can be accessed through a US embassy website in a particular country. This one is from the US embassy in Poland: http://photos.state....0Oct%202012.pdf

You can see all the case numbers on the left, and the details about the interview (when and what time). I went to the US embassy website in Germany but I couldn't find a similar link. Maybe you will have more luck. Type in "immigrant visa" and look there (or something like "visa appointment schedule"). Now I'm wondering if websites in all countries provide this information.

Hehehhee :lol: It doesn't happen a lot that they answer right away. One day I called NVC around 3pm, right when I wanted to take a nap between school and work. After waiting for over 20minutes I simply fell asleep! The lady who picked up woke me up by repeatedly saying "hello? hello? what is your case number?" :lol:

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that while I was patiently waiting for a case complete email, not getting one, and sadly watching other vj-ers get theirs, a wee miracle happened today.. I got my interview date emailed this afternoon! So strange, I don't know why I didn't get a case complete, not that I'm complaining! I just think its interesting for others in case it could happen to them too.

Thanks, D. I talked myself out of the hospital last night because if I don't work I don't get paid and I can't afford to take a 3-4 day "vacation." But I do have an emergency therapy appointment this afternoon.

Thanks Saylin! and yes I've been long signed up for Electronic Processing, so not getting a case complete email was odd. But yes, I'm excited to know we're at the final step here (Medical is all booked for November 13th)
