If you gave over email addresses to an operator, then the interview letter will be sent by email. NVC only sends correspondence by snail mail if no email addresses are given.

If your documents are still in your maiden name, then all the forms technically should have been filled out in your maiden name, as you don't have any documents to show you changed your last name to your married name. I didn't change (and still haven't changed) my last name, and kept all forms under my maiden name, as I was told by an officer to do.

Whether or not you have problems, I don't know.

Hey Saylin can you go to this post and help out this person from Montreal. Thanks

Thanks for the link. I replied :)

Just because one receives an email from NVC today, does NOT mean that email was generated TODAY. It can take days sometimes to receive emails from NVC after it was generated. For all we know, their interview email could have been generated on Friday.

My anecdote: I found out my interview was scheduled on a Friday, but I only received the interview letter the following day (on a Saturday).

My wife tried scheduling for the Medical exam they told her to call back at the end of the month.... Our Interview is on the 15th.... Does this sound right?

Unfortunately, you're asking something very country-specific. If that doesn't sound right to you, have her call the medical place back up and ask again. If they give the same response, tell her to ask WHY.

YOU HAVE TO EMAIL THE CIVIL DOCUMENTS TO mailto:NVCElectronic@state.gov

NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

* Petitioner's name and date of birth.

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth.

Hope it helps :) good luck

I'm in the same boat. Our IV package was delivered on 9/27, still have heard nothing on that. But it looks as if it can take 10 days or more for lots of people.

Also waiting on final clearance for AOS; delivered them the RFE info a week ago. Today would be nice!

I'm sure I'll get case complete this week, but thinking we've missed the deadline for November interviews in Thailand - though this is just a hunch, does not appear to be any other IR-1/CR-1 filers at the moment.

Good luck to all trying to get NVC all wrapped up.

The scheduling window for November is starting soon although for a lot of embassies they seem to schedule during the whole month. I just called the NVC and they told me they were just waiting to hear back from my embassy - which would seem to contradict the whole window theory.

To be more exact - it is impossible to tell.
