Cant judge the situation but I think Kingston CO will see this as a scam on his part, convienietly falling in love with U, however U did say he wants o come to USA to live

Y not mention U just living with him there , maybe U could do 5 months here during winter & 7 mths there summer & fall, if U & he is in love that should not be hard. Maybe 20 yrs from now & softer gentler law would allow him in, but he's just got out of prison. I am not doubting he's nice but maybe U should just have him as a lifetime friend, dont waste money on atty. Its not an impossible feat however chances R almost nil, just look at that suppose to be famous one in JA charged with rape he's worked in he UK & Canada but the USA flatly refuse ever giving nim any type of visa ....sorry good luck

ClearBlu - I am making no assumptions here, but let me tell you something: There have been thousands and thousands of American citizens who has filed for their foreign born partners / spouses are now considering themselves victim of immigration/marriage fraud. Absolutely everyone of them NEVER had one shred of doubt about the "true and bona-fide" nature of the love of their partners. Just like you, ALL OF THEM were ecstatic that they found true love. Rest is history.

Just a week ago, I had literally saved a co-worker of mine, who at age 52 was desperately looking for love/companionship and was just about to be conned by this guy from Ghana. Believe me, for a few days, she HATED me, accusing that I was jealous of her happiness. Now she is forever grateful that I stepped in.

Once again, we are happy for you that you found THE ONE!! And we hope it stays that way. Since we have no other info, we can only present information so that you don't get hurt.

You don't have to go too far - just check out the threads in the forum http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/127-effects-of-major-family-changes-on-immigration-benefits/ and see what other people who has already gone through some major heartache have to say.
