A little after 6PM today I received an awaited call back from USCIS. The IO calling was nearly incomprehensible due to a very thick accent. She asked for my application & alien number 3 times. She didn't know why she was calling me back. I explained to her what's happening and she said the person I spoke to earlier today gave me the wrong information and doesn't even work for USCIS. She said she doesn't understand what the reason for my inquiry is as our petition is still well within the CSC processing time. I said the USCIS website, that was updated in April 2013, says something else and she pretty much called me a liar and said the USCIS website wasn't updated in years. She then said to call back in another 6 months, wished me a good day and hanged up on me. What? I'm in disbelief!

I would call them back again and ask to speak to another IO. Not all of them are friendly. But some are so hopefully next time you can you will get somebody helpful.....

Received an RFE in April. Just response back today. Evidence sent is mentioned in thread below. I hope to hear good news soon, I sent exactly what they asked for and more.

About 3.5 hrs later I got a call back, they don't even have a record of sending me the RFE, so I don't know what to do, maybe wait a bit longer?

I am getting psyched about all this because I am also in the same spot. I sent my RFE a month ago and didnt have any response from them. I would call them again. Their system is flawed anyways...

I understand that they don't update the system sometimes, but their agents should have an idea of what's going on in their internal system !! I'm very upset with all this.

Tell me about it. I am a November filer and got a RFE on 5th May. I packaged all the docs and sent it on 3th June. I got a printout of the receipt that some Immigration Officer has picked up the document. Thats the only proof I have so far on if they have picked up the item or not.

Its sad that their agents also dont know the severity of the situation. SAD!!!

They don't understand they're playing with people's lives. We were planning on going on vacation, but since I can't find the original extension letter (I have a copy), I don't even know if we'll be able to go.

I responded at the end of may, I think they should have processed it by now

No , l lost the extension letter and now found it. My case still shows initial review
