Hey guys!

I don't think I posted here before.

I sent my stuff on Oct 1 got the extension letter on Oct 8.

Today: Approved! - Green Card should get here within 60 days. kicking.gif

We didn't have an interview for AOS and we didn't get interviewed this time either. Sweet.

Applejuice writing to report that it has been approved by the United States of 'Merica!!!

Received letter today (April 26, 2013)

The one-page notification letter says:

Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status.

You should receive a new Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551 (green card), within 60 days. Your card will include a mailer, Form I-797D, with important information about your status, responsibilities, and permanent resident services available to you.

Please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 if you experience the following issue/s: (Have your Alien number shown above available)

- If any of the information shown above about you is incorrect

- If you move before receiving your card

- If you do not receive your card within the next 60 days

- If you have questions regarding permanent resident services available to you

Thanks for updating, it was dated 4/18/13....

I'm preparing further documents and putting together more things that span the entire period of our marriage...I hope to mail it next week, would like to get it sorted ASAP...I will keep you posted on the progress :-( !!!

Quick question: Did you sign up for e-mail/text notification; and did you receive that notification before the letter in the mail?

Hey there, yes I did sign up for both email and text notifications but received neither. I was actually in Chicago when the letter arrived and my wife called m very excited :)

It'll happen for the rest of you soon, I can feel it!

10/18/2012 - Package received by CSC; we sent official bank check so we won't know when the check is cashed

10/18/2012 - NOA1 date (hard copy received 10/29)

11/16/2012 - Biometrics appointment

01/04/2013 - Conditional GC expires

05/23/2013 - Notification of card being mailed (approval; letter received 05/30)

xx/xx/2013 - 10 year GC received!

now this isn't surprising to me at all... anyone else shocked that they didn't get the notification despite having signed up earlier?

USCIS actually managing to get its tech implementation done correctly?! Haha- that'll probably get worked out by the time i have to do the next GC renewal.

I got letter today saying I'm approved. Date of decision 04/22/13 and that in 60 days I will receive permanent GC!!!!!!!!! 2 months from now will be my bday and will receive the new card. Am so haaaaapyyyyyyyyy! dancin5hr.gif
