Hi guys. Filed my kids papers on Oct29th... i guess i am the last one in line. His biometrics were Dec 19th. Still waiting on any news.

Hi everyone!

Being that it's almost October, I thought I would get the ball rolling on this topic. I am the USC, my husband is a UK citizen, and our window to file for ROC opens on October 13th. We're gathering docs now, and we plan to send everything off the day the filing window opens.

So, who else is planning to file in October? How is it going putting together your stuff?

Should anyone like to use it, here is a calculator I found floating around in other threads: http://www.uscis.gov/dateCalculator.html

Just enter the date your green card expires, and it will tell you the day your filing window opens.

So from what i read about your paperwork,your biometrics was taken exactly 8 days after mine was taken. So in theory i should get it before you if things go fine. So from my side i am expecting to get it by begining of may 2013(10 yr gc). Lets see how it goes.

Sorry but i dont understand this........ may 88%, june 82%, July 50%, Aug 5%???? in csc, how does these numbers work, sorry i dont know cause i am new to this forum, and also from the csc processing times its not been updated after feb 5th 2013.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

I have the same timeline to you to CSC. We have waited for 5 months already. I don't know how long more will we need to wait. Probably 3 more months. *sigh*.

When Oct filers are expecting to be started? Around which month?

Count on 6 months minimum from the date you got your NOA. More likely 8 months looking at the way things are going. Count on a year and be happy it comes sooner? :innocent:
