Before this 2 years expire you need to file for removal of conditions within 90 days. That' when you get a PERMANENT residency. I think you are confusing the OP. Any greencard is considered "permanent residency", if it has conditions or not.

Yes, a person with a 2-year card or a 10-year card are both legal Permanent Residents with the same rights and responsibilities. The only difference is how you renew the card. Nothing else.

We also did K-1. See my signature- we sent in the forms April 17th... this month will be SIX MONTHS!!! .. we're still waiting on permanent residence card and green card, though husband has EAD, and AP.
