What kind of clothing would prevent adultery?

That question was answered a long, long time ago:

For her

For him:

I didn't notice an answer to this VP :)

And you're not going to either. It's rather obvious that no one here respects my opinion and asking me to explain them is just a way to prolong your amusement at making fun of me.

Carry on but don't expect me to entertain you.

why are you holding *me* accountable for 'everyone else'

ok, so you said you agree with OP...women90/men 10

then for pages said how women's dress style is a temptation on men, who are weak and have no control

yet, your husband will not cheat because he's 'too afraid of his creator'

then you say there IS a share of blame for the men

wrap this up for me...is it a 50/50 share, or what?

I'm not mocking you, I'm asking you....you want to refuse to answer, well then I think that says it all :D

adding: if you're so 'through' with this thread, why even look at it?

I was never making fun of you. Honestly, yes, I think your views about this are totally out to lunch, but I wasn't discussing this with you to mock you or anything. (F)

my best friend when living in africa was this covered up woman, a convert to islam, did everything she was supose to. oh she was such a great muslima. even better then the ones who were born into this faith. she knew more about the quran then everyone and who obeyed allah to the fullest. what a joke.

this man comes along and keeps flirting with her and telling u how he is going to unwrap her and tear off all that. well it didnt take long before he unwraped this wonderful muslim woman who obeyed all the laws.

so u see...covering up dont do a thing. if a man wants in...he will get in. she had a husband even. ohhh but how all these clothes and veils protect a woman.

when her husband got himself a secret wife when she found out...oh man ###### hit the fan. why? in islam its aloud so why should a woman be so offended when a man takes another. its his right.

my husbands uncle decided to take another wife. the first wife hit the roof....why? it is aloud. she should welcome the new addition to the family.

why does man have to control his desires before marriege but after his first marriege he no longer has to control it and can go out and get another one if his first wife cant put out enough for him? its all bull #######.

any way the point is. u can dress like a muslim woman all covered up or u can dress in a mini skirt and short shirt it doesnt matter. u can get raped no matter what. clothing dont stop u from being sudduced. and by the way...my friends husband sudduced (his secret wife) was also a covered up muslim woman who what their nanny and cook.

RIGHT ON! I've always been a fairly conservative dresser and 7 years ago I was raped. At the hospital I can remember being asked what I was wearing! It was then that a women police officer began talking to me. (I think I got a big mouthy) It's always supposedly what the women wear/don't wear then we see men running around in tight biker shorts. I haven't seen any women running to rape them because of the lack of clothing.

If a man is sick enough to rape, it does not matter what they are wearing.

I don't think making fun of anyone's views is particularly helpful so I hope I am not guilty of that. I respect VP's right to dress modestly if that is her desire, however I refute any notion that dressing modestly will lower the instance of adultary, or rape for that matter.

I would also repeat this statement, I would rather have a husband who I know has chosen monogomy and is able to behave respectfully to other women, regarldess of the clothing they wear or whether they are memebers of our family, than a husband who is forced to be monogomous out of fear or his creator or because he hasn't been sufficiently tempted.

Ooops, maybe I should use a spellchick!

I'm so sorry that happened to you, and that you were actually asked about the clothes you were wearing by the police, as though that matters (F)

But yes, imo if a guy decides to attack a woman and rape her, she could be covered from head to toe and it won't matter one bit, which is why all types of women are attacked, not just half-naked streetwalkers.

And what about women who are sexually assaulted in a war situation? Is that also mostly their fault for tempting the invading soldiers?
