HELLO VJ USERS ... HERE I IM AGAAAAAAIN.

FORM I864A

first of all... im the household member or sponsor>????

IM THE PETTITIONER. i didn't make the income required so i wil need a joint sponsor

wich will be my brother he does not live with me. so do we have to fill the i864A right????????

ok here are the questions.

1...information on the household member ( you) this will be my brother?????

2... relationship to sponsor????????

then ...... part 2..... sponsor's promise.. ....... so who is the sponsor me or my brother becase on part 13 it ask for household member promise.......

AND NOW ON FORM I864

part 8 im sopnsoring the principal immigrant named in part 2 avobe.'

answer( my wife)

question 9 im sponsoring the following family members immigrants at the same time or within 6 months............

IM APPLYING FOR MY DAUGHTER BUT SHE HAS A DIFFERENT USCIS CASE NUMBER SO should i listed or not????

PART 5 SPONSORS HOUSEHOLD SIZE...enter the number you entered on line 10 ( 1 my wife)

PERSONS NOT SPONSORED IN THIS AFFIDAVIT...( B your self.)

(h) add together lines and enter the number here household size ...... it will be 2 right??? me and my wife???

but since my brother will be joint me as a co-sponsor ?????????????

April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

no, you are the petitioner, you are the sponsor. you will file a i864 as a sponsor no matter how much income you make.

I-864A would be used if you or your brother filed jointly with anyone. For example, if your brother was married and filed jointly with his spouse, then, his spouse would have to file I-864A.

It does not state the persons above have to fill out an I-864A. No one has to fill out that form, not even the spouse of a sponsor who filed their taxes jointly has to fill one out.

It actually states that the people listed above in #24 b. have filled out an I-864A. You and your brother are not having anyone fill out an I-864A, correct? Then both of you put None on the first line of #24 b. and leave #24 d. unchecked, just like the example form shows: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-864.pdf
