I don't think I've read anything about this but my fiance said one of her friends who recently was at USEM had to pay some money after her interview. That doesn't jive with anything I've read.

Do you need to take any money to USEM if you already paid at the bank when you made the appointment?

Also, what's the "post interview" checklist before leaving Embassy?

Just ensure your Visa is going via 2Go and where you have to pick it up?

Have them write down for you any papers you were missing and need to bring back to embassy and what day you should bring them back?

Thanks

well I dont think youre going to pay some fees anymore after you paid already in BPI branch and yes you have to check your 2go locations, meant to say is if its either for you to pick up it or wait it to your home to be deliverd.

You don't need to pay anything cuz already included from the Fees you paid. just bring extra money incase you get hungry

you able to buy food at the food stall inside the USEM. and don't forget to fill up the 2go form and drop it at 2go window

before leaving the premisses.

No you don't need any money at the embassy, it even states in the embassy letter with requirements that even the 2GO fee is included. After the interview you will be called to a window (72 for us) where they confirm where you want the visa delivered. If you were missing any documents or such they will give you a 221G instead of confirming delivering.

Yep, on the right of the entrance hallway there was a canteen stall on the way to the cashiers booth. Nothing fancy, just sodas and water, munchies if I remember right.

No, she doesn't remember what she paid for. Her friend has already gone to Michigan in the U.S. She might be able to ask her on facebook but she is leaving tomorrow for Manila so may not be able to get the answer in time. I think it was just a misunderstanding and she won't have to pay any money.

No additional payment within USEM grounds so beware if anyone ask for it.

I know that there should be no more additional payments inside the US Embassy.but during my interview I saw a few who paid something on some windows. I met some who are also applying for k1 visa and cr1 visa. We all didn't have to pay anything. I don't know what was the payment for.they have windows exclusively for them which mostly the visa applicants don't go.

They were probably paying for the 601 waivers or some such. My wife paid for ours when it was turned in at the embassy. But for interviews, no extra fees required.
