Mumbai/Delhi consulate interview tracking

My wife had her interview on Nov 8th and she received her passport and visa today, Nov 15th. Please not the amount of holidays in between and she had to pickup from Ahmedabad VFS office.

I would like to thank you all here in the community that have helped us. And I would like to wish luck to everyone for the processing of their visa.

OH YES BIG TIME! I just got off phone after speaking with my hubby and he said the same. He got his medical done today and was worried about this situation throughout and now he has to pick up his report on Saturday and he is concerned. I consoled him to think positive and not to worry.

Thank you for the wishes. Yes we got a plane ticket, We had got it when we got the approval on the 8th. She is going to fly via KLM Delta as they came out to be the cheapest. Airfare has got very costly this year.

sooooooooooo true..... it sure is slow killing :crying: .... The consulate is not even updating their interview schedule. Atleast that would have been a relief or to get a feel of something happening.... ahhhh... these people!!!

I have created a new profile in US Travel Docs.

I forgot to register my profile with my surname as the first name and also the mail id which I registered for US Travel docs is the one I was using for my visa process. my question is, can I create a new profile with other mail id?

Dear All - My wife's interview is this Friday and I am traveling to be with her :-) I have some questions:

a) As a US citizen spouse, will I be allowed inside the consulate? I read on the forum that we will not be allowed, but wanted to confirm.

b) As per - http://travel.state.gov/pdf/supplements/BMB-SUP-ENGL-0002-1209.pdf (Page 3), it appears that we need to submit DS230 Part 1 & 2 - We had submitted this during NVC stage, Is this still required?

c) I do not see Mumbai consulate interview schedule listing our case number and interview date as has been noted by others. Do you see this as any problem or we should be good?

- You will not be allowed inside the consulate.

- You do not need to submit another DS-230, they will ask your wife to sign Part-II of DS-230

- as long you have interview letter you should be fine, Mumbai Consulate will anyway update their schedule in a day or two.

I agree with PGupta, except not sure about USC's not allowed to the consulate. I thought they did allow!!!!
