Question on the Instructions from the Embassy

Hey everyone...I have a question about the Instruction Sheet that my fiancee received from the Embassy in Peru. After FINALLY getting to the Dept of State, we have been cruising right along, and are currently gathering our info and filling out forms for her interview. In #10 on her instruction sheet, it is telling us to get evidence of the engagement, yada, yada...and then asks for another "statement of intent" type letter confirming that we will marry in the first 30 days upon her entry to the USA. Yes, 30 days. Now, either I have been wrong this entire time, or we have 90 days to get married after her arrival and this is a typo.

So, I just want to make sure that this is a typo and I am not wrong...and to ask if any of the other Peru couples have noticed this.

Its a typo. They will tell you at POE that you have 90 days to get married

04/09/15-Mailed ROC

04/10/2015-Package received

04/14/2015-Check cashed

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

Like feli said, it's possibly a typo.

When she goes through POE, just read make sure you check the date the CBP officer writes on her i-94. That will be the deadline you'll have to get married.

It should be 90 days, but you shouldn't be surprised if they to it for 88 or less.
