Ok, today is officially six months since our NOA1 and still no sign of NOA2  People from October, November, December and even January are already getting approved... Someone should really introduce some order at USCIS because it's just not fair

DVV, have you managed to find out which local office your case has been transferred to? I guess it is in Tampa, because you live in Florida and they usually transfer it to the place of residence of the petitioner. Although you never know with these guys :bonk:

Izabela, r u planning to put in an e-request today?, i think you can do it as u passed 180 days limit. Do you think putting an e-request will speedup the process?. I did not call them again bcz they asked me to call after 180 days which is on monday. According to the zip code my local USCIS office is Oakland Park, but not sure if the file is sent there, Will have to wait until monday :(

I already placed an e-request a few days ago, but got no answer yet. I don't know if it will speed it up, but I'm trying everything... Kool, well i tried to put in the e-request but the lady in customer support said "i was within the timeline" and cannot put the request yet. Even i don't feel that e-request would help, at the max we might get another notice to wait for 30-60 days more right..

I can't believe it! I just checked my case status and it says:

On March 14, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

What the hell are they transferring it after six months??? It has already been transferred from California to Missouri, from Missouri to New York, so I wonder where have they transferred it now???!!! Maybe to Alaska :bonk:

Could it be a mistake? Maybe they wanted to say on March 14, 2013 we approved your petition

Did they tell you why it was transferred? When my husband called a few days ago, they told him he might be called for an interview soon. So, maybe that's the reason, I don't know. I hope your husband gets to the USA before your baby is born (L) I mean, he certainly will get there, you have six months left, it cannot possibly take that long :star:

Yes, we filed i130 first and then we filed the i129f for a K3 visa (the processing time was below five months at the time). The idea was for me to enter the USA on a K3 visa and then apply for AOS (according to the USCIS website it is faster), but now that I've read this website thoroughly I see that the K3 is practically unobtainable, so I'm just waiting for the i130 to be approved. They will probably just close the i129f, so it was just a waste of time :bonk:

It's common for USCIS to say you might have an interview when they see you went to a field office.

That used to be standard practice for the field offices.

That's not to say that you WONT have one, because there have been some lately.

But, just don't jump to conclusions and think you automatically do.

Looks like the info that i got the other day from USCIS customer care saying that CSC is processing SEP 14th application is correct (MAY BE)... lets wait and see. You have bother I-130 and I-129F petitions? i don't understand..

Applications processed after Aug 15th were all forwarded to NBC.

Have you called lately to speak with a tier 2 supervisor and ask where your petition is really as?

Because CSC doesn't have petitions after Aug 15.

I think there were just a few that slipped through the cracks right after deadline, but it would seem a stretch to say ones from all the way in Sept did.

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Closed NVC Ocotber 11, 2011

Interview Date: January 12,2012
