heyy did you do the infopass the third time?how does that work?

Nope, we got approved.

Hubby went on-line to the USCIS website and there’s a InfoPass appointment link right below where you input your case number. He just chose the options closest to our problem. Nothing REALLY matched but he got his appointments.

Just signed in and got the Post Decision Activity. Hubby’s petitions for me and my daughter have been approved!

Good luck to everyone left from September.

I hope you ALL get good news shortly!

Congrats!!

He had to drive to the USCIS Field Office to talk to a guy at the window. The only thing that he was able to find out each time was:

1. Our paperwork from our NOID had been married up with our file & was awaiting the Officer’s decision; and

2. Our Officer was not in the office. Either day.

It didn’t seem to help one bit.

Hello friends! quick question when should we lodge a complain for beyond posted processing times on USCIS web site? cos i filed on sept 14th and noa1 on sept 21st.. pls advice me?

They may not even let you put in a Service Request if you are a September filer. Hubby tried last month and the date USCIS was using was Vermont’s processing times which are now only on Jun 4. He was told to wait another almost 4 months before trying again.

Looking at their website for processing times they are saying 6 months for immediate relative petitions which would give you another month at least.

Not saying you can’t try though.

Don't waste your time talking to a CSR. Ask for an ISO until you get one. Only they can answer the questions you need.

Also your case MAY be at your local USCIS office. I'm not sure if mine was in Denver or not but it's the local office to my husband's residence. There are no local NBC offices. Often once the case is at a local office, no matter how much you call, they can't give you more information because the local offices either can't or don't update the USCIS until they need something or make a decision.

Wait until Tuesday to call again. ISOs do not work Sat and Monday is a holiday.
