I'm a bit confused...

NOA1 from California Service Center, Priority Date September 12 - WAC Receipt Number

NOA from CSC, transfer to USCIS-NBC, Notice Date September 20 - same WAC Number (Receipt Date September 13)

No further transfer acknowledgements, so no "new" receipt number (MSC or otherwise) or sign that it would have been transferred to a field office. Checked WAC number on website and via phone system, still works and says "Initial Review." Should I call and see if a new number was assigned, or just wait and keep checking using WAC number?

Filed abroad from Romania; residence in US is in New Jersey.

Edited to add: What do I put on the timeline? NBC or CSC? Notice date of Sep 12 or Sep 20?

Edited AGAIN: And what do I put on my profile (see left pane)? Chicago or NBC?

I think other people used the original receipt number they received. Be lucky you have a number you can check online!

You should put NBC in your profile and timeline as it will help determine the trend for how long approvals are taking there.

I'm in the same boat. Priority date September 26, NBC October 4 and last touch October 10, that's probably when my i-130 arrived in a local field office.

Very confusing indeed and no estimated time for NBC or local offices.

Met : March 2012 in Afghanistan

Married : August 22,2012 in Belgium

USCIS

Califonia Service Center

Sep 24,2012 - I-130 send to Phoenix Lockbox

Sep 26,2012 - I-130 NOA1

Oct 04,2012 - I-130 case transferred from CSC to NBC Missouri

Oct 10,2012 - I-130 case transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Jan 23, 2013 - I-130 approved!!!

According to the timeline instructions:

Select the original Service Center processing your case even if your case is transfered to a different Service Center.

If you filed at a lockbox location, this is the Service Center the petition is sent to for processing (you will be notified of where).

so I take it if your case was transferred from CSC to NBC for example, you would need to put CSC... that's my understanding

my Service center is California Service Center Im using the timeline there is 5 months, i just saw message post about the the Field Office is that true. That documents were transfer there to Nbc to your nearest field Office. Which Im thinking mine is Fresno Field Office. Because my husband residence is near on that area. He is from Visalia.

Okay, I seem to have missed a slight change in what the online system at USCIS.gov says. Here's my timeline:

Sep 10: Sent I-130 Packet from Romania, via FedEx. Payment: Check from Romanian bank, drawn on US bank.

NOA1 from CSC

Sep 12: Priority Date

NOA (Transfer Notice) from CSC - transfer to USCIS-NBC

Sep 13: Receipt Date

Sep 20: Notice Date

USCIS website

Sep 26: "Last Updated" date on USCIS "My Case Status" page

Status on USCIS.gov says "The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office."

I'm assuming my "last touched" date is Sep 26.

Then the predictions and statistics will be off. If you put CSC for processing and it gets approved in the 80 or so days that the ones being sent out to field offices and NBC are approved in...it will throw the stats for CSC and doesn't contribute to the stats for NBC.

Hello everyone, got NOA2! My case file number starts with WAC. It was transferred from CSC to NBC. Pfew!

Hope you all get your approvals shortly. It's always a waiting game but I like to stay positive :) Good luck everyone!

2012-09-07 is NOA1... Nov 27 for NO 2...now it looks like 81 days according to the timeline calculation

I have a question. From everything that I see, approvals are a lot faster for spouses from Western countries, correct? Should I have high hopes as a September filer although my husband is from Sri Lanka? Or am I looking at a really long wait?
