I would disagree... The speech and the situation in Iran is known and expected.

Iran is a big shiny disco ball... It is the wool he pulled over eveyone's eyes thereby avoiding addressing the deficiencies of the peace process, settlements and other actual, real and important issues.

It is all smoke and mirrors...

If you look at Netanyahu's previous statements, they all place a supposed "red line" at much earlier stages of Iran's nuclear development. He speech makes it clear that he has significantly moved his "red line," to a position that is essentially the same as Obama's. Bibi likes to bluster and boast, but Israel will never attack Iran without the U.S. willing to do the heavy lifting, and that's not in the cards (precluding a "new Pearl Harbor"/false flag op to force the U.S. in.)

But I agree with you 100% that the ongoing tempest over Iran is a calculated attempt to distract U.S. government attention from what Israel continues to do to the Palestinians. As long as Israel can keep everyone focused on the "new Hitler," and focused on stopping "mad dog Israel" from starting World War III, then the peace process with the Palestinians gets shoved off the front burner and Israel can keep kicking the can down the road, while it continues on its primary mission - to take the rest of the West Bank.
