Hello all, I found the closest place to post this, but please move it to the right area if need be.

We have finally received our packet 3 and my fiance is putting all of those things together. I do, however, have a couple questions.

1. Can I pay for the IV online instead of sending it via western and him paying at the bank?I saw this as an option for the IR-C folks, but not for the K1.

2. Does he have to do his medical exam and get the medical results before he submits it to the "Haiti messenger"?

3. Because we have been waiting so long, the last few miles are making us so so impatient...how long does it take for him to get his medical exam results after taking it? How long does it usually take the Haiti messenger to deliver the packet to the Embassy and for the Embassy to respond? and finally, how soon after will they make your interview date?

There is no way to pay the K-1 visa fee online. It has to be done at Sogebank. He should go early so he's one of the first people in line. Make sure he gets a receipt.

Yes, he has to submit the medical examination results along with all the other required documents to Haiti Messenger. It took about 5 business days for my fiancé to get his medical results from Dr. Buteau. The same day he paid the visa fee and received the medical results, he took everything to Haiti Messenger, which instructed him to return 5-7 business days later (can't remember exactly) for his interview appointment letter. But I was notified via email of the interview date two days after he dropped everything off at Haiti Messenger. The interview date was scheduled for about 6 weeks after the embassy received the packet.

for us, it only took 3 days to get medical results from dr. buteau.

after we dropped our stuff at haiti messenger, we were told to come back in a week to get our interview date (but i called DOS to get it earlier) and our interview was 1 week after the pick-up day (2 weeks after dropping off everything).
