Hardwood adds appraisable value to the home. Bamboo is nice but because it is a permanent part of the house, you want to be sure that is a look you want down for a long time. Bamboo is also a 'softer' wood and can scratch and dent easier than an oak.

Jackie

Thanks ! I didn't know much about bamboo -- but I really don't need anything that's too easily scratched and dented.

I already have hardwood floors throughout most of the house, and I do love the look and feel of it.

Studying like a mad woman today. T-4 days until my exam.

:help:

Good luck on your exam -- but I have a feeling you'll ace it !

Now I have to do well or I'll let you all down. :(

yeah, you do!

haha

Sarah,

Speaking of Elvis and the "in the Ghetto" song, (from another thread) that has to be my all time least favorite song, but I do love Suspcious Minds. (definately a guilty pleasure). BTW that hicham dancing banana does have something of an Elvis hairdo.

Elvis lives ! Plus I have the coolest reggae cover of "Suspicious Minds" -- done by the Heptones (which incidentally is like one of the coolest band names ever) -- it's a definite crowd pleaser !
