Noticed a "REVALID TO: 10OCT2012" date on my k-1 visa today. I've been in the US since August 16, 2012.

Visa was issued through Montreal.

Can anyone tell me what this revalid date is? From what I know, 'revalid' isn't even a real word! :blink:

Interview date: 07/23/2012 - APPROVED!!!!
US POE: 08/16/2012
Marriage: 09/07/2012

AOS
Package sent: 10/13/2012
NOA1: 10/19/2012
Biometrics: 11/26/2012
EAD Arrived: 12/10/2012
AP Arrived: 03/15/2013
E-Mail - 'Decision' = APPROVED: 08/06/2013 (9.5 month wait!)
Green Card in Hand: 08/14/2013

It means that your original validity granted by the I-129f expired, probably before you even got the visa, so it was automatically extended. Your actual K-1 is supposed to be valid for a 6 month period of time, which means you needed to use it for your entry to the US within those 6 months. Once you use it, it is 'used-up' so the re-validation date is no longer applicable..
