N400- inline from 2 months.. level 2 rep says still no finger prints result from FBi

Hi,

I filed my N400 marriage based on june 1sr 2012, had my bios on 29th june and was placed inline for scheduling interview on july 27th, have'nt heard anything since then.

Just called uscis first rep says they can't place a service request until 27th oct. 2nd level rep says my finger prints has not been cleared from FBI yet.

wow this is weired coz online status says in this step they just schedule for interview.

I think once you are scheduled inline for interview you're cleared from FBI for your finger prints.

does this make any sense from level 2 rep ?

Secondly the job i'm doing requires a strict finger prints and background check and I passed it for 2 jobs and i'm doing infact those two jobs and had no problems from back ground checks what so ever.

What do you guys think the level 2 rep was just trying to avoid me or she was right ?

You are in a busy district. The timeline is not unusual. It was almost 6 months for my wife between "placed in line" email and interview. They work at their own pace; nothing personal. USCIS naturalizes almost one million people per year.
