Hey Vjers,

Melinda and I went to our interview on October 18th at the US Embassy in Manila and the Consul told us everything was OK, then affixed the purple K visa approval card to the file and sent us to pay DELBROS to deliver the visa.

We have been here in Makati waiting for 9 days for the visa to be delivered but still no visa!

How long did it take you to get the Visa from DELBROS?

Anyone have any problems with their visa after it was approved by the consul, please share!

We desperately need to get back to the US, my dad just had open heart surgery and is not doing well.

Those of you who do pray, please pray for us, we really dont know what to do now.

We desperately need to get back to the US, my dad just had open heart surgery and is not doing well.

You might want to try to call the embassy at 528-6300 ext. 5184 (call between 7:30 ~ 8:00 am) and explain to the lady who will pick up the phone about your Dad's situation. Visa release may be expedited if they think you have an emergency. Make sure you have proof of your Dad's medical condition (e.g. doctor's certificate/hospital records).

Good luck. Will pray for you.
