Ssd's are where it's really at.

nah - this laptop has maybe a shelf-life of 2 more months, it has all of my tools on it - i'm getting new, sparkly gear during the winter break.

I canna handle a change-out mid-semester - i not have the time or energy for it - plus focus shifts to biology starting next term, not need my tools for almost 2 semesters after. it's a fun degree, a MS in bioinformatics..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I'm driving ole Sparky today (my fire prone BMW - long story). So if I don't post later in the evening that means he probably started burning again and caused a sigalert during rush hour and the other motorist have beaten me to a pulp.

You know you're a big fan of a tv show when you associate acronyms with that show in specific....I firstly associated BMW with the show Boy Meets World :s duhhhhh
