I don't get my biological father at all. He stopped visiting me when I was 5 because he had a new shiny wife and sons, then starts visiting again in my teen years and then we have a big blow up when I'm 18. He sends me something for my daughter's birth when I was 21 and now he is tagging photos of me on facebook at 26.... we aren't facebook friends... and I don't know where he got the photos of me in England, because he wasn't even there. Maybe he feels that now that my dad is gone he can just step back in.

I'm just not going to respond. Take that!

Actually, American wife #3 is so much worse and more devious than him. A huge part of the reason I can't stand to be around him is her. I used to think #2 was bad, but she at least is moral and we've gotten to a good point because I'm good to her sons, who my father seems to think are not as awesome as his step sons.

I wish I had my husband's resolve and lack of interest. His biological father left when he was young, tried to call once when he was 18, and my husband could care less about him or getting to know that side of the family.
