Hello everyone. I am just new here. I find the forum very useful. Guys, I just wanted to ask a question. I just got my divorce decree signed in the court this month and we will be filing a K1 fiance visa this month too. my question is:

1.)can it affect my filing a k1 fiance visa? will they gonna turn me down since I am recently divorce. ( I am separated from my previous wife for more than a year now.

It may look a little suspicious. Be prepared to answer questions re: this time line.

Make sure you are free to marry when you file for the K-1 or it will be denied.
