Hi! On friday morning I received an email ordering my EAD/AP card production :) The point is that i've been checking other's AoS timeline and most of them, received the appointment letter of thr greencard just a few days later, after getting the EAD. Is this a rule? How much time I need to wait to get my interview appointment after getting my EAD?

It's not a rule, no. I may come anytime, as it may not come at all and your case being approved without interview. Just wait and see. :)

It depends on how busy is your local USCIS office. But as your case was not transferred to CSC, it should be fast. Again, that doesn't mean there is a rule saying your interview update should come a few days after your EAD approval.

It will come, but no one knows when. So wait patiently and see.

Look at the timeframe of your USCIS field office for I-485: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

That's their maximum goal, so if for example it says 4 months, that's the max time it should take. No need to worry if it's been less 4 months and you have no news. If it comes after 2 months, good for you and enjoy it!

I never received any texts or emails about my EAD being approved. I had my interview for AOS and the following week I got my EAD the day before I received my green card. I don't think you should worry about other people's timelines, it seems like anything can happen with USCIS. You'll get your appointment when you get it. Try not to worry :)

Yes, Well My interview notice for the GC got here last week, and I haven't even gotten my EAD yet, so as the second post said looks like there's not really a "rule".
