When the NVC does schedule the interview ... do they change the message ?

Mine right now says "Your case was completed on September 17th, 2005 ... blah blah blah"

Just wondering if I need to talk to an operater everytime to find out if we got a interview or not. If they do what does the message say ?

Reunited and it feels so good ....

It is better to call DOS (# 1 202 663 1225 then 100 to talk to a live person) if you want to know about your schedule of interview. This is how I checked mine and the lady was very friendly. Be sure to get ready with your nvc case #.

Usually I do talk to the operater ... but I am sick of talking to them. So now I just want to wait for the message to change (if it does) or to get something in the mail. The operators give no reason as to why we have been waiting six months for an interview .. still no ansewr. I'd rather just not deal with them, it brings me down emotionally.

Yeah, I would also suggest talking to a live person at DOS (# 1 202 663 1225 ) These people are very nice compared to NVC.

Hope you get your interview soon.....

They are pretty nice at the Department of state. The USCIS is totally rude to people but NVC is better then them. Right now im waiting for my case complete message to change its only been almost 2 months.

The message says "NVC has completed the processing of your case. Your case has been sent to the ____ Embassy on ______. Please call the Embassy if you have questions".

Thank you ! That's all I was looking for ... now I know what to listen for

yes, I agree. the people at DOS are mean & rude. when i was talking with a lady at DOS, she sounds like she wants to hang up the phone already. if they don't want to do their job, why don't just resign rather than giving taxpayers like us hard time?
