I don't know what forum to post this on, so please move this if it's in the wrong one.

I have applied for my passport 3 months ago at the local courthouse, and gave all required documents. A month later I receive mail stating that they need further documentation to prove who I am. I think to myself; no big deal, and send it out. Now today I receive another request for more documentation. I tried calling up the center today but they are closed until Monday. At this point I have sent everything I have to them, Minus a vile of my own DNA.

You see, I'm trying to get to India to meet my fiancee for the first time, and marry. And am on a deadline of Dec of this year, otherwise her parents are going to make an arranged marriage. If I'm not granted a passport, IS there any way that I could possable get her here on a visitors visa of fiance visa without us meeting yet?

Hi

Yes, she can apply for Visitor Visa but not for K1 (FIANCEE VISA) without any evidence.

For fiance/fiancee visa i.e(k1), you must have met in last two years and you require proof/evidence of your meetings. It takes approx 8-10 months to get K1 Visa.

Thanks

She can try for a tourist visa, but it is difficult for a single young female from most countries.

Applying for a US passport is fairly straightforward. Do you not have a US birth cert or why are they asking for more info?

If you have a US birth certificate then I am not sure what the problem is, what info are they asking for?

Good luck

The woman at the court house helped me fill out all the documents. So i know nothing was mistaken or put in the wrong place. And got a professional passport photo taken.

All my personal information that I have provided as of today:

Photo ID

Social security card

Birth certificate(which they still have)

Library Card

Medical insurance card

High school records

copy's of my leases to the last 3 places I've lived over the past decade

Electric bill and cable bill statements

as well as my mom being a witness to who I was and provided her ID as well.

I have absolutely nothing else I can give them, to prove that I am me.

If I am denied, does any one think that if I ask for notarized copies of denial letters, I can send one to my fiancee as well as an immigration lawyer and get her over on a visa easier?

Generally every US citizen is rightful to get US passport unless if there is any some crime history ( as far as I know ).

Denial of US citizen passport application will never help your fiancee to come to States. That is solely up to her she is going to apply for non-immigrant visa.

Do you owe child support or something? I can't figure out what the delay might be

Good luck
