Thanks, hamigirl, I did register back in August. I created a portfolio and registered my case number to get automatic updates by email and on mobile but never received any email/mobile updates other than for the very first NOA1. Do you get an email/mobile notification of a "touch"?

No but if you sign in you can at least look and see when it was last touched. I know how frustrating this process is hopefully we get some news soon !

Thanks, hamigirl, I did register back in August. I created a portfolio and registered my case number to get automatic updates by email and on mobile but never received any email/mobile updates other than for the very first NOA1. Do you get an email/mobile notification of a "touch"?

My cases were updated twice after I received my NOA1. The first 'touch'- 8/27 I received 2 emails and NO mobile notification. Second 'touch'- 9/4 received mobile notifications and NO emails..

I am an August 2011 filler and received and RFE in August 2012 and quickly replied to that with many evidence proving my marriage. On October 17, my case went back to "initial review" and said my case was being transferred to a local field office. I then contacted my congressman for more info, and all I got was, "Your file is in transit to the Detroit District Office as of yesterday. Once it arrives here, it will be scheduled for review with one of our officers in 90 days.  Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with an exact date or time when the I-130 Unit will schedule this one for review. The I-130 Unit is diligently working on these petitions and giving their undivided attention to each case.”

And today I check Uscis again and it says my case is transferred to a USCIS office. I'm so confused and devastated because I really thought I would be getting an approval by now.

Any insight on my situation?

If you please, what did the 8/27 emails and the 9/4 text messages say? I'm so curious. I'm also jealous. I wish I had some updates or a touch!

It took them from August 2011 to August 2012, a whole year to send you that RFE? That's horrible! It seems that your case got kicked back to the starting point. I'm sorry I don't have any other insight. I hope USCIS looks favorably upon your case.

you might want to start a new thread and ask this question in the forum that relates to your situation. The reasoing for the recent transfers of people who just recently applied will be different from yout reason. It sounds to me like they want to talk to you in person and will schedule you for an interview. Try to gather all your proof including proof of recent interactions with your spouse. Make sure you have everything from the time you applied up to now. Best of luck!

I sent my application on September 28th and my NOA1 directed me to the NBC as well (receipt beginning with MSC).

I130 sent to Chicago, transferred to NBC and now on the website it says ours is a USCIS office. Reciept had always started with WAC. Our local office would be Dallas but just says...The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made'.

I am a USC living abroad. I received the NOA1 yesterday (Oct 31) and received a MSC case number. They told me to wait until I received the Hard Copy before trying to check it on the website - but of course I checked it and it wasn´t there.

Can´t wait to hear from an August or September filer that they received their NOA2 - but I will try to be patient and forget about it!

(How do I edit my timeline, since MSC is not an option?) Hopefully we can start getting some information together soon!
