Mutton is caught at a halal shop. Usually order ahead, as it's fresh.

Unless you, like SpookyTurtle, have access to yer own sheep herd ;)

Nope the only access I have to farm animals are the cows in the pasture on the other side of the highway behind my house :D

Oh after this whole process is done we will all be back on here...doing adjustment of status....

Since a Spousal Visa is an immigrant visa (holders are given green cards on arrival), Spousal Visa holders do not go through the Adjustment of Status process.

CR-1 visa holders will eventually go through the Removing Conditions on Residency process; but that is a different process than adjusting status.

Jackiie,

go to the guide section and look at the NVC portion. I got my NOA2 on Dec 20th and the NVC states they still don't have my paperwork so be prepared for a wait again. In the mean time start getting everything together the guides say you need!

You got approved during (2) holidays and what I'm sure was a short staffed few weeks so I would expect you'd have to wait a little longer than normal.

Hey guys! Been lurking in the background sharing in all the trials and tribulations. And most certainly the same sentiments for this process, but I think I received a NOA2!! ^_^ well at least according to the USCIS website we've been approved. I updated my timeline but the info listed seems lacking. I was transferred I believe from CSC to NBC and then shortly after transferred again to a "USCIS" Office. Wherever that was I still don't know.

Now I don't believe in concidences but I called and spoke to an ISO on the 13th using the rotary phone method. He wasnt able to tell me much other than to wait til February. But low and behold two days later, BOOM from initial to decision.

Not saying that what i did sped up the process but just wanted to share the story. Approvals sound like they're coming over the horizon. Keep the faith friends!

GO DUCKS!

Congratulations on your approval! We have similar timelines, but the only response we have had is 'transferred to Missouri' Hoping for approval soon!

Please enlighten me on the 'rotary phone method' for calling - I assume there are prompts that allow one to bypass some of the gatekeepers?

Thanks

You call the number and sit there without selecting anything. The system assumes you are on a rotary phone and cannot press keys. It sends you to a Spanish-speaking rep who will initially answer in Spanish. If you do not speak Spanish, ask politely to speak English.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

Gladly! You'll laugh when you read this. Anyways I found here on VJ that when you call customer service at USCIS and just sit there, i mean do nothing at the prompt (press one for english and two spanish) you'll be connected to an actual breathing, barely, live person! The act of not answering because you have a "rotary" phone will get you there. If you follow the rules you'll get bupkis. Anyways from there I spoke to rep just tell him you dont speak spanish if you dont. He won't be able to tell you much he'll just basically read everything that is readily available to you on the uscis website. The ISO is what you want. Hope that helps. Good luck
