Right, its not an easy process. But for sure one thing I know once this over, we are going to be happy rest of our life with God willing...I am start thinking I will miss VJ some point in life.. :unsure:

But for sure my spouse already stop thinking much about this process, because its taking too long then we expected.

Yea so am I. Im getting impatient already with the wait and its only been a little over a month. I just wish one of us transferrers would get approved so that we could know theres some progress.

Oh after this whole process is done we will all be back on here...doing adjustment of status....and then naturalization. So we still got a long time on VJ :lol:

USCIS

08/13/2012: I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox from Jordan (Nahda Office)

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

Me too, but atleast some break.... hard to see so many suffering for approvel everyday..lol

Four months today since NOA1....Im DYINGGGGGGG for an approval :help:

count me in for above process...I guess we will be here for sometime...reality kicks in.

Jan 23, 2013 - I-130 approved!!!

Sigh!!!, this wait is a killer , i guess august filers are the worst hit, everyone in September and October is getting approved :( good luck to all of you

Our Story

Fell in love in Pakistan, Got married, she left, filed the papers, missed each other, she came back and now we wait together for the process smile.png

4th July 2012 Married in Karachi, Pakistan
15th August 2012 I-130 Sent
21st August 2012 I-130 packet Received Email confirmation
24th August 2012 NOA1 received email and mail - petition transferred to Lee's Summit, MO.
4th September 2012 NOA1 status on USCIS, case transferred to USCIS office
Update: 11th Nov 2012- Found out case is in Houston Local office since Nov.

April 15th 2013 - I-130 Approved (NOA2)

July 2013 - Petitioner (wife returns to the US) and starts working.

September 2013 - Decided to file with NVC.

October 2013 - Submitted DS-260 got approved.

November 2013 - Submitted civil documentts IV packet.

December 2013 - Received email from NVC that documents are complete

January 17th 2014 - Interview - Put in AP for 1 to 3 Months.

Mutton is caught at a halal shop. Usually order ahead, as it's fresh.
