If the whole process takes less than a year I'll be happy. Just want it done right and thoroughly from the start... No delays or complications. But don't get me wrong... If it happens by end of spring I'll be ecstatic!!

How do you access and print out chats... Like from yahoo messenger or nimbuzz? How do you get phone texts printed out?

Sorry so late to this discussion but make sure your phone log has the company letterhead on it Lagos will not accept. Nor phone cards. They stopped that early 2011. Yahoo chats is easy go to yahoo search on the email or ID name it pulss them all up all listed whether they be IM's or email there's your log I screen shot and cut and paste in a word doc since I had alot of pages.

Also just an FYI since I have read this a few times lately with RFE's at USCIS. Make sure you be explicit in your petition on the question on the circumstances of HOW you meet.

Have fun putting it all together.

Is this too vague? We met online two and a half years ago when I contacted him on a social site.. Our friendship kept growing and a little over a year later we met face to face when I visited him and stayed with him at his apt in Nigeria from Jul 29 2010 til Sep 02 2010. We've remained in constant communication and are now filing for our petition. (is that enough or should I say my family likes him and I traveled with their blessings? Mention that when we started talking about marriage we both knew it was important that we met in person and spent time together before we made the commitment to one another?)

I have my at&t which they mailed me from the last 12 months. And will print previous 6 (it will only go back 18 months they said.) Shows incoming and outgoing calls and texts between the 2 numbers. I'm including the phone card too because it's on company letterhead with a cover letter from them and envelope. On at&t you can see after every short call from him I've dialed right back with my calling card number and on the calling card records it had his name and number. More is better than less.

Am now wondering how to show that the Nigerian number appearing a million times belongs to him since he buys minutes. He probably can tell me tomorrow.

Not saying that your information is wrong per see but another VJer just allegedly finished a successful interview in Lagos and he presented RebTel print outs with no logo. Now we all know that there are variables to all this process.

Just an FYI to all and I refer ONLY to RebTel.

They will be able to tell if you put his number on your application, if its on letters or emails you sent. You don't have to point out every number and say this is him. They know. And if a number is there they need to know they will ask him "who's number is this" They already know but want to know does he know.

It's good you have all that and on letterhead.
