I just wanted to share our success story with everyone here. I was on H4 visa as a dependent with my mother(H4 is a visa for a temporary worker's spouse and kids under the age of 21). Me and my wonderful husband got married on June 12. Our attorney filed our application on June 25th, and with in a week of two I got my biometrics notice, and a month after I received my EAD card in the mail! After about a week we received interview notice from the USCIS, which was scheduled for September 18. I was very nervous after reading some horror stories online and made sure we had more than enough evidence!! We had a lot of pictures, some of our chat records and emails, proof of a joint account, greeting cards addressed to us, receipts of gifts bought for each other, proof of trips taken together, and possibly everything we could take with us to the interview!! It started at 7:30 in the morning and the interviewer was a lady who was very cold and didn't smile at all, she made us take an oath and then asked us how we met, asked for my passport, i94, and social security card. After that she asked me a series of the basic questions which is a requirement (if i have ever been arrested, if i have ever been a spy, if i have ever killed anyone, if i have ever been deported,if i have ever been a part of the communist party, if i have ever helped someone get to the US illegally etc) I answered no to all of these questions and then there as was a pause, she did some paper work. Then she asked us if we have any kids, and basically read all the info to me from my i485 application and asked me if it was true and if i was born on (insert date of birth). She asked if we were both working and if we have a joint account. I gave her the joint account paper. Thats it!! With in a few minutes she said congratulation your case has been approved and told us about the conditional residence and then we left!! It took less than 20 minutes for the whole interview. She never asked for more evidence or photos or any other documents! We were so happy after this!!!!

Please, create a timeline and write your AOS interview review in the review section so it's easier for future VJ members who will have interview at the same USCIS office as you to read your story. Thank you!
