Hi,

I will have my interview so soon and i have a few questions:

1. The plan is having the CAS appointment first, two days after is the medical and two days after is the Consulate Appointment.... is that ok???? It doesn´t matter if CAS is before medical????

2. I have all the papers inside folders and all of them inside of a carpet holder...m can i go inside the Consulate with all of these??? or they will ask me just to take the folders???? (the carpet holder is made of plastic and fabric with diferent spaces for the folders.....

Thanks always for your help......!!!!!!!!!

I love you Charles forever!!

They usually recommend you do the medical first and foremost, then CAS, then your interview.

(But I'm not exactly sure if it really matters, someone would need to clarify.)*

As to how it is spaced - day wise - I don't think it matters as long as you give yourself time to do each thing without feeling rushed.

Plan at least a week total stay when you're there. That's how my fiance and I have so far planned it, his apt is in about four weeks.

And yes, you can take in any kind of documentation whether it be in folders or a binder - during the interview you will need to take them out as the official asks you for them.

Hope this helped.

Good luck!

Xo

The reason I say medical before CAs is because (I'm trying to find the source as we speak  ) I am under the impression that they give you something at the medical exam that you need to take to CAS.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi!

I can't give you advice from personal experience since you're further along in the game than I am, but in my research about what to expect I did come across another VJer's post about their recent interview experience and I plan on tailoring our Juarez timeline on theirs. If you check out the timeline, they took care of their biometrics stuff before even getting to Juarez. Linking below, check it out. Hope it helps!

I am not aware of any reason to get the ASC biometrics appointment done before the medical. The medical exam will give you your sealed medical exam results to take to the interview. Those are not needed to get your fingerprints done.

Also, it should be fine to take your folders like that into the consulate. They will send it through the scanning machine anyway, like they do baggage at the airport.

Haha, must have had brain fog when I answered this. I meant there is no reason to get the medical done before the ASC appointment. Some people get the fingerprints done in their own city before ever going to Juarez for their medical and interview.
