An opening page reminder for new registrants?

Recently, many newly registered members have posted the same identical question in 3 or more forums.

Can a reminder message be placed somewhere in the registration area, to only post the question once?

There are several VJ members who have the power to move threads, but they do not have the power to delete them.

One would hope that posters, seeing the many moves, would get a clue. But alas ......

but what's the point? Sometmes the OP then posts again, or people reply to both. Surely someone (RESPONSIBLE) shold be able to close a repeat thread.

Captain Ewok is aka Mr. Responsible. Let him know when you see a thread that you think should be closed or deleted.
