Hi,

We're getting ready to fill out the I-130 form from Belgium, and strongly hoping to get auto-expedited (as we both live abroad, see : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/357465-usc-petitioner-living-abroad/ )

Nevertheless, if it is not the case and we get in the non expedited line, we might not want to wait in Belgium for possibly a year.

My husband might go back in the US for a while and I might stay with some family in France.

I'm wondering though if that would be an issue for the application / visa process since I would not only be changing my address but the also the country.

I've found a lot of information about changing your address but nothing about different countries.

Thank you

Hi there,

I moved from Singapore to Indonesia after USCIS approved our I-130. While we were still living in Singapore, we received our case number with Singapore code in front of the number. We (Hubby) emailed and called NVC to let them know that am gonna move to Indonesia and if is it possible to move our case to Indonesia. NVC was really helpful and did not give us a hard time to change our case to Jakarta. NVC gave us a new case number (with Jakarta code in front of the number).

So don't worry to change country during visa processing. You just need to email or call NVC, and they will assist you.
