Somewhat true, when I jus got here an individual insulted my question I had for a friend back down my throat & his answer was not totally correct

I ended up not coming back for days & still leery in posting questions

Just remember this, next time you come across one of these bullies. They may hide behind their computer screens, amping up their persona behind the facade that they might have already been through it all, but in real life they probably have bad acne, crooked teeth and keep a hamster named Eric.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

It is mostly fat old men wearing their wife's housecoat and bunny slippers.

I dunno, I note I've been cranky since March, and have tried to 'stay away' a lot of the times.

I do triage here on individual casefiles, but only cause I have some interest in it.

I am blunt, and my level of sarcasm is not for most readers.

I do apologize on occassion, also... (so there...)

Make it a Great EP Day !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

not sure WHAT HAPPENED overnite: I opened U-visa topic in "Effects of Major Family Changes". Woke up - and no longer see the topic. No message either.

One thing: I see that TBoneTX moved another topic into "Effects" at about same time of nite.

As to the topic I (thought I) opened: pretty important! I've dealt with officials on US soil for over 9 years, and no one ever even mentioned I had a path to immigration readily available. I posted on VJ this summer - and only 1 out of hundreds of readers/posters in my case turned up aware of U-visa availability for past successful criminal cases. So where did U-visa topic go???

Click on your name or avatar in the top right corner. On the page that opens (your profile page), you should see a link "find my content" on the left side of the page. Here is a link to your content.

I don't see anything about a U-visa so I would guess it wasn't moved or closed. It's possible occasionally for topics to get deleted without a trace, but AFAIK only for a reason that violates the TOS (ie illegal activity), or if it appears to be spam. It hasn't happened to me personally so I'm not sure if you get notified or not. It's also possible you didn't hit "post new topic" or did so at a time the site was down for maintainance (usually happens for a few minutes in the early am).

Failing any of the above, I would suggest contacting site administration here and describing the probblem. It is advisable to do it this way rather than posting in an unrelated topic. You'll get a better answer and won't risk derailing another topic.

Thank you for quoting me (just above here); because as you can see, my post which you quoted (and inside which TBoneTX had a mention) disappeared again - and no notification again. I'm not sure I'm NOT ON TOPIC with this observation(?) As to my U-visa topic this morning: it was visible for about 30min, I viewed it a couple of times - but it kept sporting "0 views" - and then disappearing act happened.

Your question was split off to its own thread because it does not pertain to the subject of this thread. No need to keep referring to it here in this thread. To find that thread go to your profile and then click "find my content."

Contact the site administrator to learn why your topic is no longer visible. Use the Contact Us link at the very bottom of any VJ page.
