Did I ever say Sarah was a victim? But practice what you preach! I don't think she is abrasive at all, her style of posting is just different than others. She has a dry sense of humor and some people just don't get it. Just because someone doesn't understand something doesnt make it offensive or abrasive. Morocco, I think many people here would have the same opinion about you and me. It seems your line in the past is that it is intellectually irrespsonsible to approach things with a PC attitude, or with an emotional one. Is this not the case any longer when we are discussing your situation, or at least, a situation in which you are rooted and feel strongly about?

I would venture this discussion of who-thinks-what is gross wouldn't be repeated so often if the other side didn't spend so much time and attention on it. If you find Sarah's opinion to be of no value to you, and you see that she isn't going to change her mind, then why do you persist? It's exactly what you told me yesterday. Give it up.

My most likely unwanted $.02.......me either. Like Sarah, I don't think it's GROSS, but if my mom OR dad were dating someone my age...I would not like it...and I, personally, (Again, using "I" statements) wouldn't do it myself.

When I went to pick up my kids last night I was discussing this with my friends... who also happen to be black... I told them I was being accussed of being a racist because I use the word ghetto while I'm not black... I have never heard a group of people laugh so hard in my whole life
