Hello Everyone,

I just mailed my AOS Package yesterday thru UPS one day delivery...I ask for the recepients signature which they received my package this morning and signed by John...

Now, I have a problem... I just found out since I photocopied all my applications that I sent to them that my Form I-130 question 8, date of marriage - instead I have to put 07/07/2011 - I answered it 07/07/2012...I just can't believed why I put the wrong year... :(

So now, do I have to correct this mistake? or I'll just wait for RFE...I really don't know...

I didn't hear anything from them yet since they just received my package today...

do i have to pay for another fee for this? or they will send all my files back to me...

Has this happened to anyone else before? If yes, what did you guys do?

I would appreciate any advice from anyone with any knowledge on this matter. Thank you in advance!!

Your petition usually doesn't get rejected or denied based on that. It doesn't get rejected because they look for incomplete petitions(missing forms or signature on I-130, something that's obvious when sorting through the cases fast) or missing check/money order when they receive it.

RFE is most likely. This is when USCIS is missing evidence or you need to clarify a situation/document. And it's getting very rare that your case gets denied before an RFE.

In such circumstance that they don't catch your error and you get to have an interview without any RFE, you'll need to address it right away so it can be fixed and it won't come back to bite you. Since you haven't been married 2 years by the time of your interview, the date makes no difference with the 2 or 10 year greencard.

EDIT: Some people have been succesful in sending evidence before getting an RFE, arranging an infopass appointment to correct info or calling USCIS. HOwever you're not guarenteed that they'll do anything about it through mail or phone. If you're too concerned about it, go ahead and set up an infopass appointment after you receive NOA1.
