Rescheduling an Interview

Okay trying to do some advance planning and wanted to get peoples thoughts views, expertise on this matter.

I will have Case Complete at NVC oh in the next 2 weeks and I guess in the November Queue. However it would work out better that we get a December interview (preferable after December 7th).

So should I take my time submitting the IV BILL stuff and allow myself to be submitted later on October (probably missing that November interview queue).

Or get the interview in november and get it changed. Which I have no idea if you can get the next month or when they feel like giving you an interview.

Anybody change a date how did it go what did you do? Now remember this is highly quessing on my part that me getting the IV BILL documents to NVC and getting accepted will even get me in the November queue. (Ya follow me).

And yes I have to be there for our formal wedding (we had our courthouse and lost all our pictures too

So opinions, advice, thoughts. Help!!

U just might get the date at ur desired Month

I would let it play out, then if you get a date you don't like, call the consulate to reschedule. Don't do it at the NVC level

I would call NVC and ask if it is possible to get a dec interview date instead of Nov, if they say no then I would submit the iv package in nov instead of oct that way the interview will be in dec or thereafter.

Debbie, I would go ahead and send in my docs to the NVC. You never know what month you will get or if you will make the cut off or not. If you get December great...if not then you can always email Lagos and ask them to reschedule you for December. They answer emails in about a week =) Good Luck!!

Thank you everyone for your input. Man when you are waiting the minds has too much too think about. LOL. Well I pray the documents get here this coming week so I can submit and as you all say "Play it out".
