I posted a message regarding what i saw when i tracked my petition on USCIS website which says they have transferred my petition to another office and i should be expecting a notice of transfer , and i was afraid but you all said i should keep calm and wait to see what will happen. you are right, Today i got a letter from the USCIS and it says thus :

Transfer Notice it includes the receipt number, the receipt date, the notice date, my name and address , my husband(beneficiary name) and the case type which is the I 130 and the message said

This is to notify you that we have transferred the above application or petition to the USCIS office at :

USICS NBC. P.O BOX 648005 , Lee's Summit , MO 64064

We transferred this case because the record indicates that office has jurisdiction over the case. that office will notify you of subsequent action taken on this case

please refer to the USCIS processing dates webpage , visa the USCIS home webpage to locate the processing date for the specific service center that you case was transferred to. If the service center is within processing time for your particular application or petition, USCIS cannot provide an update on your case.

my question goes thus ,(1) are they trying to request for an interview ? (2) does it mean we are having problem with our petition ?

i am very worried now. please your reply will be needed.

do not worry many people are getting the same notice and I expect to get one soon. This is normal processing and they are just balancing workloads. Try to relax God willing everything will be ok :)

thank you so much, when some people said they want interview and i was confused , as my husband is not living in usa , he lives in Russia. how come they will want interview, lol and if is because of the work load, i hope this new place can speed up the process and not more than 5 months.

I also received the same notice that my I-130 went from Chicago Lockbox to VSC and then they transferred to NBC. I, too, was worried that I was transferred there because they wanted an interview for me (although, I couldn't figure why they would want that since it's unlikely they'd doubt my marriage). In addition, a LOT of people have been getting the same transfer especially those who filed in August and September. So, for now, I'm feeling better that hopefully the transfers to NBC have been for the good reason and not the bad. :)
