Hi everyone,

I don't know about everyone else but I’m going crazy here with this waiting for an interview date. It’s hard to get through to them on the phone and they never give you a straight forward answer in the E-mails. My Fiancée spoke to them back in September after October's list came out and she was told "oh yeah your definitely going to have one in November during the first or second week. So here's my question, am I the only one or are we all stuck in the bottle neck effect? What is everyone’s time line from Mumbai? Does anyone know another # to the embassy and tips to get the right info from them? Thanks everyone...I’m really having a hard time right now after hoping for November when the embassy told us November. :crying::crying:

wow mallett - you have been waiting for a while. The only number I have used is 011+63+25286300 ext. 5184 or 5185 - Doesn't seem to matter when you call just keep trying back.

Our case was received Oct 12, and we were told to expect an interview date in Feb or March 2007. I agree, it sucks.

We are going through Mumbai too. I am a little behind you, timeline-wise. I sent an e-mail verifying they had received Packet 3 and the DS-156 (they were sent separately by my fiance and he did receive receipt confirmation from the postal system so we know they received them). They replied back that they hope to give him an interview in December. I know the standard basic response, but I have seen where it takes anywhere from 2 - 4 months for an interview in Mumbai.

I do not know of any other tips either. I know it is difficult right now during this waiting period. We have done all we can on our end and unfortunately we all now just have to wait.

Hoping for the best!
