Filing I-130 and I-129F at the same time

Just quick question. What if someone files both I-130 and I-129F at the same time without getting the NOA1 of I-130. Would this speed up the overall process or slow it down. I know they will RFE for NOA1 of I-130. But by sending both forms together and then just replying to the RFE later on. Of course i am not planning on doing this, but just want to get some input from you guys. thanks all in advance for your response

No .. won't speed anything up. You are required to enclose a photocopy of the NOA1 from the I-130 with your application for I-129F.

I filed mine at the same time and it did not make a lick of difference

You can't definately do that because you need to include a photocopy of the I130 NOA1 in the I129F petition. If you don't do that they will probably deny the petition

Yes, Hafiz sahaab...maria_b84 is right...I'm also filing K3 visa for my wife...Do the following

1: File I-130 1st & wait for NOA1 for I-130

2: As soon as you receive NOA1 from I-130 then file I-129F

3: You must submit the copy of NOA1 with I-129F

4: You'll receive another NOA1 for I-129F & all u have to do is wait to see which one approves 1st.
