I-693 Medical Examination

Hi everyone, in regards to the AOS, is the "I-693 Medical examination" the same as the one your fiance(ee) has to take before the Embassy interview? Or are they two different things? If its the same, would she just need a copy of the medical forms that are submitted at the interview? Thanks for the clarification.

It is the same, she doesn't need a copy of the medical forms, since the USCIS already got it. But she needs to see a CS listed on the USCIS website, who will transfer the entries from her DS 3025, which she got, when she had her medical abroad, to the required I-693a form for the AOS.

If she didn't receive a DS 3025 at her medical and if she isn't able to call the doctor's office to get a copy, then she needs to take the book with her vaccination records to the CS......but having the DS 3025 makes it a lot easier.

If she had her medical within the last year from the day you'll file AOS, then she doesn't need a new medical.... unfortunately most CS try to sell a complete medical instead of just filling out a I-693a, so it might could take some phonecalls, until you will find the right CS.
