Serious flaw here: much of the rioting in France last year WAS NOT done by illegal immigrants, but FBCAAO's (French-born, confused, African/Arab origin).

and, before anyone asks, it doesn't make it right, it doesn't make it justifyable, it just makes it highly unlikely that this behaviour is somehow going to become a role model for immigrants in the US.

Let's not also forget that the perpetrators seem to be french citizens, not immigrants either, legal or otherwise, but the descendants of immigrants.

Let's not also forget that the perpetrators seem to be french citizens, not immigrants either, legal or otherwise, but the descendants of immigrants.

So what do you think happens if the USA goes enforcement only (strictly enforced employment verification) and all these illegals that have skated on fake documents (or no documents) are told by their employers that their hands are tied (with threats of heavy sanctions from the Fed) and the illegals are unemployable? Will they go home quietly or march in the streets singing "we shall overcome" in Spanish while waving Mexican flags as they did earlier this year or riot in the streets yelling "hell no, we won't go"?

The entire world is waiting and looking to see if the mighty USA has the balls to enforce its borders and reign in the corrupt employers that openly flaut the law.

It was the failure to enforce the law in 1986 that started the flood. Are leaf blowers really necessary for the continued prosperity of the USA?

I saw an obvious Central American illegal at a stop light in Houston wearing a sign around his body advertising a pizza restaurant? It reminded me of photos of the Great American Depression in the 1930's. Is this really necessary for American prosperity? Importing mass poverty.

Often historical context is ignored. LA riots were not sparked by immigrants but blacks (yes they can be considered the original people cause they were brought here the same time as the whites). But ask a black person and he will talk about injustice and racism. This is also true in this case. The riots are against unemployment. It has been done all over the world. China had similiar protests in the early 90s. All by natives.

The riots in France are the result of segregation though.
