Okay, hopefully this topic won't offend anyone...not my intention. I am a firm believer in live and let live. I am just curious.

I hope I put in enough options to accomidate everyone.

I was born and raised mostly Methodist, but the same with me i dont pray every day, i dont attend church every week. in the future i will most likely convert to Catholic but it takes well over a year and we have to find someone here that will do the class in english for me.

I didn't vote and quite honestly I don't understand the point of this poll. Exactly what conclusion are you trying to get to?

My husband is muslim and I am christian/baptist. Neither one of us is very religious. If one of us was more religious than the other then I can see a problem.

I am not sure how you define if some is practicing their religion. Isn't that between God and the person?

If we are talking about Islam here, what's practicing? praying 5 times a day? fasting during Ramadan? What if you do one without the other? I've seen a lot of "practicing" muslims who are NOT behaving like good muslims. I've seen a lot of good muslims who do not look to be practicing the way some people expect them to be.

I consider following the rules as you see them as "practicing". At least that's how I understood the question.

Now My husband practices, but he is more of a holiday church goer. You know the people who say they are christians but only go for the holiday services. That's kinda like my husband. That's how it was when we met and that's how it has ccontinued to be. I was a practicing christian when we met. Every sunday and wednesday church goer with the ocassional thursdays or saturdays for bible studies. But even though I was practicing, I still had my doubts and slowly fell away but continued to be part of the church every week. My best friend introduced me to Islam again and we started learning about it. Then I met my husband two months later. I did however get married in the mosque and reverted later.
