Can someone explain to me the DHL process after you get approval at the interview? Does my husband (beneficiary) need to sign up for that before the interview or will they tell him to sign up for it after the interview? Please someone help me I'm confused on that.

After the approval at the embassy, they will have you go to the DHL kiosk outside of the building but still in the embassy walls to fill out the paperwork to get the visa in the passport, we had the choice of getting it delivered or picking it up at the DHL office in Lima. We had our interview on a Monday and picked it up at the DHL office on the Wednesday and left for the USA that night, although I hear we were pretty lucky and processing times can vary. I hope this helps and good luck with your journey.

Nice! Thank you so much for explaining that to me. I'm glad to hear that you get to choose if you want it delivered or if you can just pick it up yourself.

VJ members have been reporting that the DHL system is different now and the Embassy's website says the same. OP, what did your interview letter say? Were there instructions for using the Embassy in Peru's usavisa-info.com website? It's located here

This is how they've been handing DHL, to my knowledge, for about the past year. See here, as well.Lima consulate page on returning passport and visa

No, it did not say anything about using the Embassy in Peru's website.

So will DHL deliver it to the applicant? My Fiancee lives in Uganda but will have to go to Kenya for her interview. If it were possible it would be nice for her not to have to stay in Kenya for a week waiting. Perhaps she could pick it up at some DHL office in Uganda. Any ideas?
