i was approved on the 13th and received the NOA2 in the mail last week but got this email today:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On October 25, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

any ideas on what this is? is this something i should be concerned with?

We received an e-mail with the exact same wording. This was USCIS' confusing methodology of telling us that they had sent us an RFE that was was not delivered. We had moved (and had filed the appropriate documents and called the hotline to report the address change) over 21 days before the notice had been mailed but they had still mailed it to our old address. I would call USCIS and see if they had attempted to mail you a document that had been returned.

Please call the Customer Service no. on the NOA2 and ask what it is.
