Now that my case has been transfered to CSC

Ok.

Since my case has been trasnfered to CSC. I'm expecting to get a RFE regarding my medical I-693 Form.

The question i have, is that i sent a photocopy of the medical worksheet that I got from my medical in Toronto last year with my package. I know it's a hit and miss if i get the rfe.

But the clarification i need is that I don't NEED the I-693 form but the I-693A form.. the A is the vaccination supplement right? I'll be calling around tomorrow to get some price quotes.

Thanks!

Cliff notes :

1... got xfered to csc

2... I'm confused.

3... NOT I-693 needed BUT need i-693A *A*

If your medical was less than one year old when you filed your AOS, then you shouldn't be RFE'd for the total medical. (Of course they can RFE you for anything, really, right?)

If you get an RFE for sending the vaccination worksheet without the I-693A supplement, then yes, you'd need to get the I-693A supplement filled out by a civil surgeon. There's been some reportedly doing these by fax for as low as $35 (transferring the info from the worksheet to the supplement form).

If it helps, I submitted only the vaccination worksheet from my medical in Vancouver and have just received an interview letter. No RFE for it (although they can send at any time). I'm leaning toward believing we're in the clear for it.

Hope that was the info you needed.

Here is the supplement. It is hit and miss. No point in really worrying too much until you have too.

I got transferred to CSC and didn't even send the embassy medical worksheet since they never gave me a copy. I simply included a note saying that my vaccination details should have been included with the medical.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, no RFE and approved without interview - YAY got away with it!!!! It was certainly worth a try and you probably will too, Peter. Good luck!

So is it possible that, since my english wife (just got married on a k-1) was not given a copy of her medical/vaccine records, we have the aos app approved without sending in any i693 or i693a???

I did not get a new NOA for the transfer (although some CSC transferees did) and my case number remained the same. It's even the same NOA number that shows on my Welcome letter.

Hi there. How do you know your case was transferred?

Cause my case status told me so.

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On February 24, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times.

I got transferred to CSC and didn't even send the embassy medical worksheet since they never gave me a copy. I simply included a note saying that my vaccination details should have been included with the medical.

Thats what i'm hoping for. if not, I'm gonna start calling around. I don't think i'll start worrying about it until I see a RFE note on my case status online. I guess time will only tell :P

Peter.

I had my medical last May in Canada and I have been RFE'd for both a new medical and supplement. They say my file does not have the medical from my K1 visa. So anything is possible.
